报告内容摘要：

Recently,similarity queries on feature vectors have been widely used  to perform content-based retrieval of images.  To apply this technique to large databases,it  is required to develop multidimensional index structures supporting nearestneighbor queries efficiently.A new multidimensional index  structure called the SR-tree is proposed forhigh-dimensional  nearestneighborqueries. Firstly, we will disscuss SS-Tree and its structure. Secondly，I will introduce kNN search. Thirdly,we will talk about SR-Tree and its Algorithm. Finally，wemake a conclusion about SR-tree and kNN search.
