Database workloads migrate to thecloud in the form of Database-as-a-Service(DaaS), aggregating motivation to provide performance Server Level Objects(SLOs),but DaaS providers must balancethe performance and cost. The paper solved those issues, the DaaS providers mayhave different hardware SKU(Stock Keeping Units),thus they need a hardware provisioning policy and need a tenant scheduling policy.
